This year marks the 150th anniversary of the historical book The Origin of Species. Charles Darwin was born in 1809. He was 50 years old when the book was published. Darwin also published The Descent of Man in 1871. A few years later, Darwin published Insectivorous Plants when he was 66. He dedicated almost two thirds of this book on Drosera rotundifolia. Charles Darwin died in 1882 at the age of 73.
