Golden blossoms in a spring breeze, in late April, near Wilmington, North Carolina. I had seen many fully grown pitchers of S. flava in Florida a few days earlier. The flower season had long gone in the southern territory of this species. Here in North Carolina, I finally caught up with their flowers.
