I
returned to the same colony a couple of weeks later. There was a heavy
rain, I was told, a few days earlier. Many a tall pitcher leaf of this S.
flava colony in Florida were tilted with the weight of water
inside the pitcher tube. In one of them I found this spider being
drowned in a rainwater-filled pitcher. |
