2009 Makoto Honda. All Rights Reserved Spiders are quite common in cobra plant habitats. In fact, during flowering in northern California colonies, it is often difficult to find a flower totally free of the silver silk of the spider web. Many tall scapes lend themselves quite conveniently to web construction. A spider web over cobra plant blossom adds another degree of peril to the flying insects sharing the same environ.
