Carnivorous Plants:

2009-November-22 As I was driving down past Sacramento, California, I found this field of sunflowers. I stopped to take a look. To my surprise, I found Devil's Claw plants growing alongside the sunflower plantation. I do not know if this is just a weed, or it is grown by farmers for some purpose. Time was early June, and Proboscidea parviflora was blooming. PHOTO: Proboscidea parviflora, California
