First Choice Farm
Woodbine, MD. Set on over 60 rolling acres in Howard County, Maryland, First Choice Farm is a private, full care facility specializing in the training and development of the dressage horse and rider. Under the direction of Felicitas von Neumann-Cosel, First Choice Farm has developed into a world-class training facility. Horses and riders of all ages and levels are accepted for short-term training or for long-term sponsorship from all over the United States. In addition, a limited number of full training boarding stalls are available to local riders and their horses. Felicitas also travels throughout the United States teaching clinics.
First Choice Farm's facilities concist of an immaculately maintained 15 stall barn with an attached 20x40 meter mirrored indoor arena. A 20X60 meter regulation-sized outdoor arena is located a short walk away, nested beautifully in the rolling hills of the 60+ acre property. Patuxent State Park is adjacent to the property and offers additional land and trails for riding.
F.I.C.S. has worked closely with First Choice and Felicitas for over 20 years. First Choice Farm has an Automatic Fly Spray System, an EuroSprinkler System, and a Red Master Harrow.

Moore Hebert Dressage at Alsikkan Farm
Germantown, MD. Alsikkan Farm is the newly renovated home base of Moore Hebert Dressage. Located on the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve, it is a full-service facility that offers dressage training and lessons, as well as regular clinics, symposiums and schooling shows. Head trainer Hilary Moore Hebert is senior editor at Dressage Today magazine, as well as an FEI-level dressage competitor, USDF silver and bronze medalist, and "L" Education Program graduate.
The brand new steel indoor arena is frequently compared to a football stadium when the five rows of ArenaBright Lighting shine down on 22,000 square feet of EquiFibre footing. The arena is meticulously maintained with a Red Master Harrow and F.I.C.S. Water Wagon. BarnBright fixtures bathe the barn in warm lighting that shows off the original wood of the carefully renovated 1900s dairy barn.
Phyllis Dawson - Windchase Farm
Purcellville, VA. International 3-day competitor and member of the 1988 US Olympic Team in Seoul, Korea, Phyllis Dawson is a highly acclaimed rider and trainer. Now retired from competition, Phyllis specializes in offering talented Event horses and prospects for sale and producing Irish Sport Horses through her breeding program. Windchase also offers boarding and training and Phyllis teaches riding clinics all over the country.
We have been consulting with Phyllis on her footing for over a decade and she currently has rubber footing in her indoor.

A Bit Better Farm
A Bit Better Farm is a full-service equestrian training facility located in Brookeville, Maryland. Accepting a limited number of training projects, the farm concentrates on the training, competing and sales of event horses. A Bit Better Farm also has several horses and riders competing at the upper levels. They have an EuroSprinkler System and LightFoot Arena Footing in their indoor. In the summer of 2012, they updated their outdoor arena with FICS Intermediate Sand and LightFoot Arena Footing.
ESP Farm
Brookeville, MD. Owned and operated by Rachel and Oliver Kennedy, ESP Farm is a full service hunter and jumper stable offering riding lessons, training, and showing to private clients both at their farm and on the USEF “AA” Circuit. They use a Red Master Harrow to groom their outdoor arena.
Center Peace Farm
Lanham, MD. A small, private facility owned and operated by Lyndi Prettyman-Caruso. Lyndi has been training riders and horses for over 25 years and has her USEF & MHSA "r" Hunter/Jumper judging certification. Throughout the year there are various showing opportunities ranging from unrated shows to "A" Rated shows such as Culpeper and others throughout Maryland, Virginia, and the surrounding area. Almost every weekend you can find Lyndi out coaching her students.
Past and present students have done well up and down the east coast on both the local and rated circuits. Past accomplishments include students doing extremely well at competitions such as Gittings Finals, MHSA, WBTA, MSA, HCHSA, and Ocala. Lyndi has a Red Master Harrow to maintain her outdoor arena and an automatic fly spray system in her barn.
Sunset Hill Farm
Woodbine, MD. Sunset Hill Farm has 117 acres, 4 arenas (all groomed with 2 Red Master Harrows), 5 barns (all with automatic fly spray systems), an indoor arena with EquiCush Blend miles of gorgeous fencing and neighboring trails.
Sunset Hill is home to Kate Chadderton, an international trainer, instructor, and competitor in eventing, dressage, and stadium jumping.
Playland Farm LLC
Union Bridge, MD. Playland Equestrian Center is a full service breeding and training facility oriented to the event and dressage rider but welcomes riders of all disciplines. Manager/Trainer Glenda Player has taught throughout the world, using her background in Centered Riding and pony club to clearly communicate with students of all ages and needs. Glenda prides herself on teaching riders 'how' to ride, not just 'what to do.' Playland offers a 22 stall barn attached to the 80 x 200 indoor arena along with 2 outdoor arenas all maintained with a Red Master Harrow. In November of 2013, F.I.C.S. provided Glenda with a custom blend of LightFoot and EquiFibre to add stability and support to the indoor footing.
Country Hill Farm
Westminster, MD. Country Hill Farm is a full service hunter facility located in the rolling hills of Carroll County. Services provided include, boarding, lessons, on-site local and rated horse shows, leases, and transportation provided by Coles Horse Transport. Country Hill Farm has a beautiful indoor 100 x200 arena with a large covered waiting area, a schooling ring beside the indoor, and another 150 x 180 outdoor ring toward the back of the property. Dear F.I.C.S. of Maryland,
I am so happy with the fly system that you installed in my dog kennels. I originally wanted it to kill flies, but am happy that it also kills fleas and my dogs no longer require other monthly flea control products.
I raise and show AKC Champion Border Collies and have exhibited my dogs all over the United States, including at the 2009 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The health and appearance of my dogs is of the utmost importance to me and my choice of your fly system is in keeping with my needs in those areas.
Since purchasing the system in 2001, I have raised several litters of puppies. The bitches are kept in the kennel until two weeks before whelping. They are returned to the kennel with their litters while the puppies are still lactating, at about 4 weeks of age. I have had all healthy litters with no problems whelping since the installation. All puppies returned to the kennel have grown at normal rates and become healthy adults.
I have recommended your systems to several of my show friends and will continue to do so. Besides the convenience, it has saved me money. I was spending over $600 per year on flea control products alone that I no longer have to purchase.
