Proper footing is not a luxury.  It's an arena essential...

Our footing products are used in numerous arenas throughout the country, ranging from small, private farms to large-scale commercial ones. They are used by beginner and intermediate riders as well as several Olympic champions. We have the experience and the dedication to greatly improve your arena. Let us help you with your footing.

Philosophy

Before recommending an application, we always take into consideration your riding discipline, your existing footing, your desired changes, and your horses’ needs.

Due to the fact that each application is unique, we have a variety of products, each with distinctive characteristics and purposes.

Arena Footing Additives

Most Popular Additives:

Rubber - All of our rubber is clean & unused and is guaranteed to be free of metal, silicon, zinc, and other hazardous materials associated with tire rubber.  Unlike scrap tire dealers who are trying to unload mass quantities of contaminated tires, we have various blends that are created specifically for equestrians.

This family of rubber products is designed to reduce compaction, increase cush, & optimize toe penetration.  Our granular rubber will soften your footing, help to break up a hard packed sand or stone dust, and minimize further packing.

CushionAid Granular Rubber

Our flat rubber provides cush, compaction reduction, & stability. This is often added to loose sand because the flat pieces tend to overlap and knit together to improve stability and minimize shear, while still softening the arena.

SandAid Flat Rubber

Fiber - Adding fiber to an arena cushions the footing and also increases stability.  Much like our flat rubber, fibers tend to knit together and overlay one another, helping to create a more stable footing.  Another benefit of fiber is that small dust particles get trapped within the fabric's knit, keeping it from becoming airborne in your arena.  Furthermore, the moisture retention properties of the fibers tend to reduce the amount of watering needed.

We are proud to offer:  EuroFelt™, EuroFelt Prime™, along with other fiber blends.

All of our fiber additives:

  • Increase stability

  • Provide cushioning and shock absorption

  • Retain moisture to minimize dust

  • Maintain footing consistency

  • Reduce joint stress

  • Extend the life of your sand by reducing pulverization of sand particles

  • Are all either recycled or "pre-cycled"

  • Can be added to a variety of existing surfaces
